Temple Bone Marrow Transplant Program Physicians Listed in Best Doctors in America®
Three Temple Bone Marrow Transplant Program physicians have been named to the Best Doctors in America® list for 2009-10.
Nominated by fellow physicians and selected through a peer-review process, Best Doctors are recognized for their clinical expertise and ability to deliver state-of-the-art care to their patients.
Every two years, Best Doctors, Inc. surveys leading medical specialists from across the country, asking, "If you or a loved one needed a doctor in your specialty, to whom would you refer them?" The result is the "Best Doctors" list and database, which includes the top five percent of specialists in the country.
"I extend my congratulations to each Temple physician named to this year's list. Their work, and the work of all our physicians, collectively contributes to the innovative advances in medical education, research, and patient care we are achieving here every day," said John M. Daly, MD, Dean of Temple University School of Medicine.
"Patients from throughout the region – and across the country – choose Temple University Hospital for our physicians' excellent reputation for delivering quality care. We are proud and honored that so many of our doctors are held in equal esteem by their peers," said Sandy Gomberg, Interim Chief Executive Officer of TUH.
